Feelings

The feelings that men have are similar to those that women experience however there can be some added shame because of the myth that men should be able to stop the abuse. Rape and sexual abuse can trigger all kinds of feelings such as anger, depression, nightmares and anxieties. The feelings you got through are unique to you and it is important to remember that there is no normal way to feel.

We have listed some of the most common feelings on our Feelings page which you might like to look through. If you’d rather speak to someone about how you are feeling as a result of rape or sexual abuse, you can contact us to arrange an initial assessment by calling: 01872 262100.

Our office is open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8.30am till 5.15pm. Or email us on: help@crasac.co.uk
